"THE COOLEST CAT IN COMOX" Sponsored by Natural Pastures
Cheese
Vancouver Island Cheese
Company sponsors Olympic Tornado.
It seemed only fitting that Natural Pastures Cheese Company were one of four sponsors for the new Olympic Tornado "Wine & Cheese". The twin-hull catermeran was launched on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at a wine and cheese reception attended by Comox Mayor Jim Brass in Comox. After a traditional champagne christening by the Mayor, the Olympic Tornado was put through its paces by brothers Stuart and Andrew Robinson in front of the media and VIP's who had been taken out in a Comox Valley Adventures Zodiac to get close to the action.
The Robinson brothers and "Wine & Cheese" are looking forward to a busy race season this summer, with International Waves Week in Vancouver and the popular Comox Cup included in their schedule. The twin-hull is a great addition to the local sailing scene and the boys father and trainer, Jim Robinson of Compass Adventures is determined to see the Olympic Tornado and its crew achieve maximum exposure for the benefit of the local sailing scene and the sponsors.
"Wine & Cheese" is sponsored by Cherry Point Vinyards and Natural Pastures Cheese Company as well as Nautech Industries and CKLR 97.3 The Eagle.
Natural Pastures Cheeses are available at many B.C. retail outlets and the company's factory at 635 McPhee Ave, Courtenay, B.C.
